B.Light Design

The winners were announced in Apartment Therapy’s Design Showcase: the Prop won the judge’s award and Block Desk and Quartet Chair won the people’s vote. Two great designs.

One of the judges, Rob Forbes founder of PUBLIC Bikes, had some really nice things to say about the Secret Passageway Switch:

High marks for uniqueness of concept, very clever. We usually take light switches for granted, and rethinking their function and place in the home is fresh. It makes you want to find a use for it.

Thanks to all that voted for my entry, I really appreciate it. I couldn’t have made it this far without you. The switches should be going on sale shortly.
