Robot sculptures by Gordon Bennette. They are in a store window on 5th Ave at 16th St. Totally worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood. Turned ToysFriday, January 15th, 2010Came across these two great turned toys (thank you minor details). I love how simple they are and yet are pretty expressive. All of the artists are from Argentina, must be something great in the water there. I might have to rip these off. el Ramon (scroll down) by Javier López Pereyra. If They MatedMonday, June 15th, 2009Habitat InspirationMonday, September 29th, 2008I love the Habitat articles in the Real Estate section of the New York Times. This Sunday had a cool article about an artist’s live/work space. But what I really liked is the way he framed the piece on this wall. Using different sized frames, of the same design, to continue the tree branch drawing (at least I think it’s a drawing). What a great look, I’m going to have to rip this off.
