The bathroom cabinet is finished. I’m really happy with how it came out. My bathroom no longer has that “Michael Corleone leave the gun, take the cannoli” feel anymore.
I was surprised with how easy it all came together. Plywood and pocket screws are so choice, if you have the means, I highly recommend picking them up.
I can’t believe I’ve lived in my apartment for 5 years and I’m just getting to this now. A simple built-in to be used as a hamper and storage. I rested the front panel against the frame (that’s why it’s so crooked) before painting, so I could get a good idea of what it will look like. So far so good.

Granted, it’s a pretty simple project, simple ply-wood frames, but finished is finished.
I still have the licence plate from my first car (I miss you The Express) and recently picked up an old New York plate at a flea market in Chelsea. I thought it would look cool to frame them together, show off my old home state and my new one. You got to love the old plates, the new ones look kind of tacky.
