Toy Robot Build - Front

I’m putting together a toy robot this week, hopefully a certain 4 year old will like it.

Coffee can, chili peppers can, light fixture odds and ends, bolts, and a toggle switch. The robot is taking shape.

All of the controls will be on the back. Illuminated switches and buttons are fun, but my favorite part is a timer switch I pulled from a broken toaster oven.

Wooden Tops

After seeing Inception, I had to make my own totem. Two turned wooden tops (one oak, one ???), finished with tung oil and wax.

Turned Toys

My sister had a baby last week and it’s a boy! So of course I made him wooden egg shaped Weeble Wobble like creatures. Why, what do you make newborn babies?

They wobble fine, still working on the not falling down part.
