Making Faces

Haven’t done this in awhile, I saw this at Kate and Jon’s place.

Recently I gave a couple of sets of eyes to some kids (I can’t believe I haven’t done that before, stupid I know), it was great to see them play with them. They instantly started attaching them to metal things, to their hair, their clothes, so cool. Definitely one of the more fun things I’ve ever made.

Chalkboard Paint Eyes

Tried something different with the magnetic eyes, I used chalkboard paint. It adds a new slant on the faces I can make.

Making More Faces

So I’ve been giving people sets of ping pong ball eyes, and asked them to send an email with pics of what they came up with. So far the results are great.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Face of the Month by Ben Heavy. I never even thought about using the eyes to attach to themselves through non-magnetic material. Well done.

Thanks for the idea Corban.

Finished the magnetic ping pong ball eyes last week, since then I’ve developed an odd habit. I’ve been attaching them to metal objects to create instant faces.

Pretty much anything can look like a Muppet if you stick eyes on it.
