What the Font
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009I recently got my hands on an AC/DC font, and a bunch of people I know are having kids. Figured I’d try out some ideas.

I have a few things coming up this month and figured I needed some new business cards. Moo does a really good job.
I’m kind of a snob when it comes to furniture. If I didn’t make it, or refinish it, or find it in the garbage, I usually don’t want it. I’m a terrible person, I know. But there comes a time in you life when you need to buy some big boy furniture.
For the second time, I’ve bought a piece of furniture from Room and Board. They are a pretty great company. The furniture is fantastic, the craftsmanship is top notch. Great customer service too. Sorry sounding like a commercial.
Their stuff isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for.
As I said before, my family has the Christmas tradition of making our presents. I finally got some of pictures of what my parents and sisters made.
My mom painted and reupholstered some chairs for my sister.
My one sister made a ceramic deer head for one of my other sister. It ended up looking very similar to this. Here is a pic of the armature.
One sister made a bracelet of Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Signs.
They also made charcoal drawings, scrapbooks, duvet covers, and much more. I just don’t have any pictures of them. My family does it up right.
I was back in the Poconos for the holidays and took some pics of the ol’ shop.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt such intense shop envy. Do yourself a favor and click on the magnifying glass.

So I finally set up an Etsy store. Not much there now, but there is more to come.
Also set up a “Buy” page, take a look.
If I ever owned an antique store, I would name it Joanie Loves Tchotches.
