A toy car experiment, borrowed heavily from Tai Geng’s otto and Playsam’s Streamliner.

Two pieces of milled plywood and some modified caster wheels made for a pretty fast little racer.

Crazy to think of all of the work that goes into assemblies that no one will even see.

I can’t believe it took me this long to make an Iron Man Robot Recipe. Two cans, a few milled parts, and a nice powder coat paint job. I might make a couple more of these, probably put some lights inside.

Milling some diamonds in maple on the 4 axis. Would that be miamonds or diaples?

I’ve done some scrap plywood glue ups in the past. And I’ve been happy with the results after they’ve been turned or milled. But glueing them at an angle has always a bit tricky. So I made a jig.

All from scrap MDF, this guy lets me adjust the angel of the slant. I hope it helps me experiment a lot more with this technique.

Turns out you can polish tuna cans to a very high shine.

I love when you can go from quick sketch to finished part in just a few hours. This milled delrin piece was originally intended to hold 1″ diameter PVC pipes in bundles of 5. But it became an interesting wheel as well. Just need to create new kinds of roads.

Been trying some metal inlay experiments. More to come.

Octopus Walk. Maple and spring door stops. Kind of a first pass at an octopus toy. The proportions are way off, but I wanted to see if there is anything in the movement that I liked.
